COVENANT DOME CAMPAIGN

The Purpose | The Plan | How to Prayerfully make your committment!

THE PURPOSE - Dr. Ron Frierson

Each year it is my joy to reflect back on what God has done through the precious people of New Covenant Christian Center Church (NCCCC). It is most impressive to see the overwhelming commitment that the membership has for the assignment God has given our Church. As we embark on our ministry in this new season, we know that God has made a choice for us to be a part of bringing in this end time a harvest of souls, as well as being a part of expanding His Kingdom here on earth.

Our goal this year is to forge ahead and to stay on course for our construction of the Covenant Dome. The construction of the 1,250-seat sanctuary and Impact Center are goals that we will accomplish by faith. The initial vision has been expanded far beyond what I initially saw in the Spirit. God has been gracious to us and has led us to step to where we are today!

The Biblical Pattern for Success

We established the Covenant Dome Vision Campaign according to the scriptural plan that God gave for Kingdom building projects. The plan of God is that projects are to be financed by God’s people with over and above giving. It was so in the construction of the first worship facility during Moses’ leadership, Moses said to the entire Israelite community, “This is what the Lord has commanded: From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering of gold, silver and bronze,” (Exodus 35:4-5) “and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved him came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the Tent of Meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments. All who were willing, men and women alike came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds; broaches, earrings, rings and ornaments. They all presented their gold as a wave offering to the Lord.” (Exodus 35:21-22) It was so during Solomon’s leadership, and it was so throughout Biblical history!

God commits to prosper us in supernatural ways so that we will have the financial resources to give. “The God of heaven will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build…” (Nehemiah 2:20)

We have successfully followed this Biblical pattern and have watched God provide for the people as they provided for His work.

THE PLAN - Not Equal Gifts,But Equal Committments

Now is a marvelous opportunity to step into the flow of God’s blessings with your Church family. One person cannot accomplish a vision of this magnitude. We need each other to build a quality future for the next generation and ourselves. I am asking that every person commit to giving an Impact Offering. I trust that you will pray about giving your special offering.

Goals to Accomplish The Plan:

• 100% Tithing Ministry
• Debt Free Ministry
• 125 New Families
• 300 Vision Builder Impact Givers

We never pressure anyone to give. We pray and trust that God is always able to meet the project’s needs through precious people like you. Thank you for being a part of this vision to impact generations to come. Together we can build a more excellent future!

HOW TO PRAYERFULLY MAKE YOUR COMMITTMENT! - Lady Georgette Frierson

This is how Pastor and I made our decision as to how much to give as an Impact Offering. I share this with you, as these thoughts and questions will help guide you through your decision making process:

  1. Think about what God through this ministry has done in your life and the lives of those who you know.
  2. Determine to willingly live up to your responsibility as a Christian and provide for future generations to receive the Gospel.
  3. Ask yourself what adjustments you are willing to make in your life in order to make a financial difference in the project. How could you rearrange your budget so that you and your family can do your part in giving?
  4. Ask yourself three things about the financial commitment that you have in your heart to make. Does this amount express my appreciation of what God has done? Does this offering and gift really respond to the Kingdom’s needs or is this a token gift to say you did participate in Impact Sunday? Lastly, is this gift a product of your faith?

You have learned how to use your faith to get the things you want, now are you willing to use your faith to provide for the Kingdom of God? Make your commitment to the Vision Campaign and remain steadfast and the promise of Job 22:27-29 will become yours, which states, “Thou shalt make thy prayer unto Him, and He shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows, thou shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. When men are cast down, then thou shalt say there is lifting up; and He shall save the humble person.”
